The LSB double frame consists of two layers that do not touch, thus preventing the formation of “cold bridges.” The styrofoam concrete is 0.015 W/mK warmer than wood. A 30 cm thick layer of styrofoam concrete provides the same thermal insulation as a 1.5-meter thick brick wall. Additionally, styrofoam concrete ensures good air permeability and creates an indoor climate similar to that of log cabins.
The double frame “DoubleWall” is moisture-resistant and made of galvanized steel with a zinc coating of 275 g/m². The styrofoam concrete is also moisture-resistant, does not absorb water, and retains its strength and insulating properties. It does not promote the growth of microorganisms or mold.
The double frame “DoubleWall” is made of steel, a non-combustible material. The styrofoam concrete belongs to fire class G1 and flammability class B1. It is difficult to ignite and does not support combustion.
